One of the special things about this season of my life has been having the opportunity to visit churches, and share a little about what God is doing and where He is leading me.
During one of my recent visits, I had the sweetest time with the children. we passed out stickers and Polish flags, and watching their excitement and smiles was absolutely priceless.
It may seem like such a simple thing–a sticker, a little flag ,a few smiles– but I’m learning more and more that ministry often happens in the simplest moments. We don’t always know what God will do with a conversation an act of kindness or a moment of encouragement.
As I prepare to leave for Poland and begin this new chapter of ministry, I’m reminded that God has been preparing the way long before I ever knew where it would lead. Leaving my career as a Physician Assistant and stepping into something so different is definitely a leap of faith, but I truly believe now is my time to follow where He leads and serve as diligently as I can.
I’m so grateful for every church, every person ,every prayer and every encouraging word along the way. And I’m especially thankful for moments like this one that remind me why I’m going.
Please keep Poland, the churches, the new ministry, and the people I’ll have the opportunity to meet in your prayers.
Sometimes a little sticker and a Polish flag can be a pretty wonderful reminder that God is building something bigger than we can see.
